May Young Professionals Build Day

Get outside, get involved in the community, and engage with this motivated group of young professionals!

If you want to meet new people and learn new skills while helping to build houses for low income families in the community – this is the EVENT for you.

We have a new build! We're building a duplex in Oshara Village, a neighborhood where Habitat has built many homes. May's activity continue to be framing on the duplex.

We will meet at Ted Swisher Park (Blue Feather Road in Oshara Village) at 8:30 a.m.

Logistics:
Things to wear or bring:
-Old/comfortable work clothes
-Closed-toed shoes
-Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
-Water bottle
-Lunch will be provided as Rob will be grilling, vegetarian and vegan options will be available.
-A mask to wear if working indoors

Once logged in, the Volunteer Opportunities Calendar will appear. On the date of the build, check the box and click “Sign Up.” On the following page, confirm the volunteer date and click “Schedule Only Me.” You are now registered to volunteer with Santa Fe Habitat Young Professionals.

Approximate schedule:

• 8:30 AM Meet at work site
• 10:30 Break
• 12 PM - 1PM Lunch Hour / Cook out!
• 3:30 PM Build Day Ends
• Afterward - socialize at a local brewery
