April Young Professionals Volunteer Day

If you want to meet new people and learn new skills while helping to build houses for low income families in the community – this is the EVENT for you.

This month, we'll be volunteering at the ReStore instead of the build site: sorting donations, separating recycling, whatever needs to be done. We'll likely be working both inside the store and outside, so dress for the weather. No experience needed - staff and volunteers will teach you everything you need to know when you arrive.

We will meet at 2520 Camino Entrada Suite A at 8:30 a.m.

Logistics:
Things to wear or bring:
-Old/comfortable work clothes
-Closed-toed shoes
-Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
-Water bottle
-A bag lunch to eat or we will go out to eat as a group
-A mask to wear if working indoors (if desired)

If you have not already, please create a Volunteer Profile with us by clicking “New Volunteer Registration” at the top of the page linked above. If you already have a profile, simply log-in. Once logged in, the Volunteer Opportunities Calendar will appear. On the date of the build, check the box and click “Sign Up.” On the following page, confirm the volunteer date and click “Schedule Only Me.” You are now registered to volunteer with Santa Fe Habitat Young Professionals.

Approximate schedule:

• 8:30 AM Meet at ReStore
• ~12 PM - 1PM Lunch Hour
• 3:30 PM Build Day Ends
• Afterward - socialize at a local brewery or restaurant
