We're excited to announce a special evening with one of the world's leading authorities in goal attainment and motivation: Professor Peter Gollwitzer (http://www.psych.nyu.edu/gollwitzer/) - Chair of the NYU Psychology Department and Director of NYU's Motivation Lab. Dr. Gollwitzer will be giving us an exclusive sneak peek into some of the latest research on goal attainment, willpower, and motivation. We've followed his research for several years and you will definitely not want to miss this!

Special thanks to our friends at New Work City (http://nwc.co) for hosting this special event.

Currently, his research centers on the psychology of action, self and identity, specifically on the question of how goals and plans affect cognition and behavior.

One of his signature contributions concerns what he calls implementation intentions strategies. Also called if/then planning, it specifies the when, where and how of a goal-directed behavior.

Dr. Gollwitzer has been awarded the Max Planck Research Award and the TRANSCOOP award for international research collaboration. He is a Fellow in Academia Europaea, as well as a Fellow in the American Psychological Association.

Admission Fees & Door Policy:

Admission fees help cover event logistics, food, drinks, video recording, and more. It's unlikely, but if you'd like to try and see if there's room last minute at the door without an RSVP (no guarantees), there will be an extra $20 added processing/hassle fee at the door. We've had some unfortunate experiences with this in the past, so thanks in advance for your understanding!
