Come learn how to use Nix, an advanced declarative package manager, and the operating system built around the reproducibility it allows, NixOS!

Nix allows you to describe an entire system in a few hundred lines of code, and reproduce that system, every time, with far more precision than solutions like Docker compose files, Ansible, and other similar alternatives. This opens brand new possibilities to the advanced linux user: painless synchronization of dotfiles, ultra-fast backups, and instant dev environments on even a personal linux machine to name a few. Come learn how to use and configure this system with us in this user group. We want to build a local community for fellow Nix users as we all build expertise with this new system and the challenges that come along with it.
