WHAT TO EXPECT
Join us for Hack The Box (HTB) meetup in Christchurch, New Zealand! Whether you're thinking about being a hacker or are already a seasoned one, this event has something for everyone.

We will have a guided walkthrough of the HTB 'Expressway' machine, demonstrating essential tools and techniques for red teaming. After the walkthrough, you'll have the opportunity to explore an additional HTB machine, collaborate with other members, and tackle various challenges together.

Venue and drinks & pizza are supplied by Foodstuffs South Island. So thank you very much for having us!

EVENT DETAILS

Car Parking Instructions
We want to park in the FOODSTUFFS staff car park, *not* the Pak ’n’ Save car park to avoid potential parking fines from the automated systems.

On the attached (old) Google Maps image, this is the area bounded by yellow. Behind the FOODSTUFFS main building, or between the building and Main North Road.
The entrance to the staff car park is on the left side of the northbound lane of Main North Road, roughly as indicated on the map by the green arrow.
Note that this entrance is *not* accessible from the southbound lane of Main North Road.

If coming from the north, my recommendation is to go down Cranford Street, turn around, and come back onto Main North Road northbound.

Alternatively, go through the lights southbound, turn right into Vagues Road, then come back onto Main North Road northbound.

Be aware that if you come in through the Pak ‘n’ Save entrance, even if you then park in the staff car park, numberplate recognition cameras will timestamp your entry and a parking fine could result after 90-minutes. Entry through the staff carpark entrance avoids this.

Building Entry
The main entry door to the building is at the ‘nominal front’, roughly where the icon indicates “Foodstuffs South Island Head Office” on the Google maps image.
If you park round back, you will need to walk around to the main entrance.
If you have pre-registered before Monday 16-March there should be a named entry badge waiting for you.
If not, you will need to sign in to the kiosk.
A FOODSTUFFS employee will guide you to the event room.
