Road to CREST/CRT: HTB Remote

It's been a long time since our last meeting, so we’re excited to reconnect with you. In this session, we will prepare for the CREST Certified Tester (CRT) exam by solving Hack The Box (HTB) machines in the CREST/CRT tracks.

To take control of the Remote machine, we’ll locate a hash in a config file over NFS, crack it, and use it to exploit an Umbraco CMS system. Once inside, we’ll identify the TeamViewer server, retrieve credentials from the registry, and write a script to decrypt them. Finally, we'll gain administrator access and establish a shell using WinRM or PSExec.
