Anyone who is interested in cybersecurity and penetration testing should join this group. The purpose of the meet up is to meet other infosec enthusiasts, discuss, exchange knowledge regarding cybersecurity, hack machines from Hack The Box dedicated to this gathering and enjoy.
In Hack The Box Meetups we support free training and everything is given for free to the community.

Hack The Box Meetup: #1

Whether you're just starting out in Cybersecurity or already solving machines on the regular, this is an event you should not miss !
This meetup is designed to be accessible for beginners, yet engaging and challenging for more experienced.
What to expect :
- Part 1 : Theory, setup and live demos. Short intros, showcasing of popular tools and live demos of CTF and Machine exploitation
- Part 2 : Hands-On Hacking Challenges. Collaborative effort to solve challenges, selected CTF and machines with scalable difficulty will be available during the meetup.
What you would need :
- Your laptop, ideally with a virtual environment setup
- Virtual Machine with Parrot OS Security/ Kali linux / Any linux distro setup with cybersecurity tools
- Very basic familiarity with Linux
- Programming knowledge is NOT necessary
- Curiosity
