Attention all hackers, cybersecurity enthusiasts, code ninjas, and curious minds!

Join us for an exciting session with Vasco Lucas, a distinguished cybersecurity professional, researcher and Incident Responder, as he delves into the fascinating realms of Diffie-Hellman key exchange and the Logjam attack.

This exclusive Hack The Box meetup is a unique opportunity to gain insights from a dynamic individual who has not only excelled academically but is also making waves in the real-world cybersecurity landscape.

"Diffie-Hellman key exchange is a cryptographic key exchange technique and was the first asymmetric scheme published in the literature.

This key exchange provided a solution to the problem of key distribution, i.e. it allows two entities wishing to communicate to share a key over an insecure channel. This is possible because the process of obtaining the session key is achieved through the contribution of both entities without directly transmitting the secret over the channel.

However, in the course of this talk, I will go into a little more detail, and before explaining how this whole key agreement process works, it is necessary to first talk about cryptography, namely the transition from classical cryptography to modern cryptography (the dominant one today).

This is followed by an attack in 2015 that led to the verification of some major conspiracy theories from the obscurantism age, which a group of 14 scientists called LogJam."
