Welcome back, everyone
This is officially our second Hack The Box Raleigh Meetup, and I’m excited to see this community growing right here in the Research Triangle. Raleigh, Durham, RTP — this area is packed with talent,
For this meetup, we’re leveling up. We hope to have HTB Academy modules available up through Tier 2, so whether you’re brand new or sharpening fundamentals, you’ll have structured material to work through at your own pace. If you’re more advanced, we’ll also have Easy and Medium labs open for anyone who wants to jump straight into hands‑on hacking. We may only have one or the other, but if we do not get labs, the modules come with skill assessments that mirror Small penetration test.. (AEN, Pivoting & Networking, AD attacks & enum, Windows & Linux Priv Esc, and more.. so there will be plenty..

And the timing couldn’t be better — Season 11 of The Punk starts the same day, around 3 PM our time. Once the new seasonal lab drops, we’ll be forming a Raleigh HTB Team for anyone who wants to compete together. Beginners, experts, and everyone in between are welcome. The only requirement is that you’re willing to learn, try, fail, try again, and keep pushing. If you’re new, a lot of this will feel overwhelming at first — that’s normal. Week after week, with consistency and support, you’ll be solving challenges you never thought you could. And if you’re already advanced, you’ll help us climb the rankings and represent Raleigh on the global scoreboard.
RTP is the largest research and innovation park in North America — let’s show HTB why.

What to bring:

  • Your laptop with HTB access and Kali or Parrot installed
  • Chargers, adapters, and anything else you need to stay powered
  • Drinks or snacks to keep you going
  • Headphones if you prefer to work quietly
  • And of course, all your hacking gear — digital or otherwise

You can study with the group or work independently — the vibe is collaborative, not competitive. The goal is to learn, grow, and build a strong cybersecurity community right here in Raleigh.
