### HTB Toronto Meetup #11 — Blue Teaming with Joshua Headrick

For our 11th Hack The Box Toronto meetup, we’re excited to welcome Joshua Headrick!
Joshua is a Sales Engineer at Hack The Box with a diverse background across security consulting, penetration testing, and defensive operations — including prior roles at Triskele Labs, Pure.Security, and years of hands-on experience in IT administration before moving fully into cyber. He also runs a custom mechanical keyboard company (Mtn Kbd).
For this event, Joshua will be doing a live walkthrough of a Hack The Box Sherlock challenge — focusing on how defenders think, respond, and analyze incidents. This session will center around defensive security, detection, investigative process, and how to break down evidence to understand what happened inside a compromised environment.
This meetup is great for beginners and intermediate members who want to strengthen the defensive side of their cyber skillset — along with pentesters who want to better understand how blue teams trace adversary activity.
