About us
Anyone who is interested in cybersecurity and penetration testing should join this group. The purpose of the meet up is to meet other infosec enthusiasts, discuss, exchange knowledge regarding cybersecurity, hack machines from Hack The Box dedicated to this gathering and enjoy.
In Hack The Box Meetups we support free training and everything is given for free to the community.

Hack The Box Meetup 0x17 Onsite @ CYREN ZH (Beginner)
Digital Society Initiative, University of Zurich, Rämistrasse 69, Zürich, CHWelcome to the 23rd edition of the Hack The Box Zurich Meetup. We will meet in person at the University of Zurich, Digital Society Initiative for another HTB machine walkthrough.
In this session will cover Expressway, an easy-difficulty Linux machine that demonstrates enumeration and exploitation of the IKE service for initial access, and exploitation of CVE-2025-32462 for privilege escalation.You will need:
- Your own laptop with Wi-Fi (don't forget your power adapter)
- A Hack The Box account, register here (don't use Google or LinkedIn)
- Some experience working with a terminal (cmd.exe / shell)
- Optional: local virtual machine running your preferred hacking OS (browser-based VM is provided alternatively)
- Motivation and good mood
The participation is free of charge. This is an onsite event, neither online-participation is possible nor recording will be provided. Attendance is exclusive to registered participants. Please use the RSVP button to confirm your participation.
