What we’re about
Tired of small talk about the weather? Us too. Hackaccino is for engineers, scientists, creators, and doers who want to build and work on projects instead of just chat about the same where-are-you-from what-do-you-do loops.
We meet at a cafe, pick one or more projects, and work on them independently or together. Some are for the greater good—designs that solve problems, apps that help people, ideas that make the world better. Others are just for the fun of it—quirky experiments, random inventions, offbeat prototypes. The point is to create, not just talk about it.
It’s a place to meet other witty, engaged minds who get excited about ideas, enjoy solving tricky problems, and have that mix of intelligence, humor, and charming dorkiness that makes conversations fun. You don’t have to be a genius, but you do have to be interested in making, doing, laughing, and exploring.
Bring your affinity towards ridiculous ideas, your love of solving problems no one asked you to solve, and a sense of humor that works in multiple dimensions.
