Summer Concert Series: Sumbaswing

This is the last show in JPL’s 2019 Summer Concert Series. Dance your heart out on our front lawn while Sumbaswing provides the rhythms. The group is led by saxophonist, arranger, and Band Leader Elliot Pineiro. A list of musicians who have played or who continue to play with the band reads like a who’s who of New York’s best cats. Sumbaswing not only plays afro-Caribbean rhythms with jazz harmonies but Pineiro’s vocals add shades of Motown to the mix.
