What we're about
We're hackerfarm in Kamogawa, Chiba, Japan. We're a technology, arts, and agriculture collective that live in the countryside in Japan and work on agricultural technology, sustainable living, and building sustainable businesses.
We go to Tokyo regularly and are putting together a series of talks and workshops in relevant areas for people that may be interested in the types of things we work on out in the countryside.
This is a recurring series where we will be giving talks and inviting others to give talks on urban agriculture, rural agriculture, sustainable agriculture, permaculture, and agricultural technology. We are very close to agriculture since we live in a rice farming village in an agrarian area of rural Japan.
We will also be giving workshops on agriculture technology and introduce people to various ways to automate both urban agriculture and rural agriculture. These workshops will introduce both electronics hardware and software in an agricultural context.
