Geek out re: startups and grab a beer?

It's been a loooong time since I started hosting Hackers and Founders events. It's time for me to touch grass, have a beer and talk to other people. Wanna hang?

Hackers and Founders over the years has been a great place to have a beverage, and geek out with other... well... hackers and founders.

We talk about things like:

• How does Starlink send data thousands of miles in outer space with a laser beam?
• When will AI destroy the world? And how would I monetize that?
• Why smug lisp weenies are misunderstood. "I know lisp has a lot of parenthesis, but what it allows you to do is mind expanding"
• Kali vs Arch linux vs BSD which is awesomer
• How my cute cat picture startup failed. ( Srsly )
• My "Plaid for stock exchanges" startup failed.
• I just left my last startup, and I'm touching grass and meeting other people for the first time since COVID
• If Large Language models are trained on my DNA, can it be used with CRISPR gene editing to give me super powers?
• Why aren't their more nuclear power startups?

Or, whatever.

In general, we're pretty geeky and we like building companies, and a lot of us like tasty beer and wine.
