DTLA Civic Hack Night - new volunteer onboarding/project showcase

We are volunteers coming together to make LA better for everyone!

We are a group of designers, developers, product managers, and non-technical community activists. We're both experts and learners, so you can flex your skills or learn new ones while giving back at the same time! Bring a laptop.

If you would like to discuss creating your own project around a civic tech idea, please contact the organizer! All our projects are open source and not for profit.

But due to a conflict and thanks to the generous support of our friends at Two Bit Circus, we are able to host this onboarding/project showcase session for new volunteers in their amazing space.

The Two Bit Circus MicroAmusement Park is a brand new type of social playspace, including a VR arcade, escape rooms, a bar, and food, in DTLA's Arts District. The venue is also a platform for new technologies, and aims to bring ideas from designers, inventors, makers, engineers, storytellers and more from concept to reality.
