Presenter bios

George Daskalakis is the President and Co-Founder of the Technology in Pharmacy Network and a committee member at the Ontario Pharmacists Association. George is an advocate for the increased utilization of pharmacists to address many of the healthcare system’s inefficiencies, including the high rate of non-optimized medication regimens. He has a track record of advocating for the pharmacy profession and believes that the potential of pharmacists will be unlocked through the better integration of technology into the field.

Alam Hallan is a pharmacist registered in the province of Ontario and known for his experience in the hospital sector and technical expertise. His passion lies in empowering the patient journey through access to data to live healthier lives and better manage their chronic conditions. Having worked in various roles in the hospital system, ranging from frontline care provider to senior management, Alam is currently working with some great innovators in the healthcare space!

Rui Su is the Co-Founder and Chief Clinical Officer at MedMe Health, a pharmacy care platform that empowers pharmacists to deliver clinical services at scale. Previously, she has worked at SDM, Health Sciences North, Odette Cancer Center, and healthcare startups in Canada and SF. She holds a PharmD from the University of Waterloo.

Jason Kreller is the President and Founder of Relief Buddy. With roots in family business, Jason has a background in working with business owners, specializing in private capital markets and estate planning. Jason started Relief Buddy, an Uber-style pharmacy staffing platform, to help create a better staffing solution for the pharmacy industry.
