HackPGH's 2026 Open House

Our makerspace has changed a lot over the last year, with upgrades to both our equipment and facilities. New floors, new walls, new equipment - the works. Join us to see everything we have to offer at our Open House!

Date & Time: Saturday, September 20th from 12PM to 5PM

Cost: Free and open to the public!

New equipment and features:

• xTool F2 Ultra Dual Laser cutter & engraver (MOPA Fiber & Diode) joins Trogdor (CO2) in our new laser area - complete with fans, filters, and purifiers!
• SLA/Resin 3D Printing Station with custom-built safety enclosure and new printers; a Uniformation GK3 Pro and HeyGears RS Turbo
• 2D Arts Station with new work areas, Epson photo printer, and heat presses
• FABRICation Arts Equipment; a Brother PRS100 Embroidery Machine, Juki 8300N industrial sewing machine w/servo motor, adjustable height work table, and advanced jewelry-making soldering kit with torch and pickle pot
• Fully operational machine shop
• Knife forge
• Studio Side renovations including new floors and colorful walls

Light refreshments will be served. Shop Leads will be present to answer questions and give demonstrations of equipment.
