Build an Online Portfolio

The Online Portfolio Workshop is for people that want to create or improve their online presence.

Whether you're interested in building a website for personal expression or updating your Linked-In account, this workshop is for you.

We explore different web options and technologies, then show some favorite portfolios from around the web. After that, it's time to work on our own.

Portfolio might be a broad term here too. Some people use blogs to establish online presences. Some are into Facebook. If you already have a personal/professional website/blog/behance/tumblr/other this is a chance to work on it with a group, receive feedback, or show off.

This event is more about exploring possibilities and trying something out rather than a prescription for correct net denizenship. Different tools and content will be appropriate for different goals.

I personally am interested collecting my different maker projects in one place that's visually interesting. Others I've spoken with want something that potential employers will see. And still others are interested in attracting customers to their small business.
