Google Amp, APIs and Tagging: Future Proofing Content @ the Trib

Join The Texas Tribune for a discussion on how newsrooms are building for new platforms, making their content models more flexible and preparing for the future of online news. The Texas Tribune's development team will begin by shedding light on their major development projects from the past year. Andrew Gibson, front-end dev-master, will share insights from the Tribune's experience building a story page for the Google AMP platform. And Liam Andrew, content engineer-extraordinaire, will explain how and why the Tribune revamped its tagging system and developed an API to make content more flexible.
