Random Hacks of Kindness

I thought this event happening this weekend would be of interest to hacks and/or hackers who want to use their skills and knowledge to build something news/journalism/information related. There's also an optional planning/happy hour event Friday night. Let us know if you go!

Wanna use your technology or design skills for social good and really change the world? Join us at Atlanta's 4th Random Hacks of Kindness (http://rhok.org/) hackathon atATDC (http://atdc.org/) throughout the first weekend of June! In addition to free food, drinks and swag, we've given away thousands of dollars in prizes and the top 2 teams from December's event were even recognized by Atlanta City Council (http://www.rhok.org/blog/rhok-atlanta-winners-recognized-city-council). Who knows...maybe you'll build a civic startup like SeeClickFix (http://seeclickfix.com/). Check out the video recap of December's event: http://youtu.be/BhAVRZsndoU

You must register through rhok.org (http://www.rhok.org/event/atlanta-1) to participate.

Afterwards, it's likely that the group will move across the street to the Barrel House.
