Delicious audio/visual web integration with Popcorn.js

We’re kicking off the new year (pre-student) with a hacking tutorial on Popcorn.js (http://popcornjs.org/). This tutorial should be useful for anybody who has to work with multimedia on the web, so Hacks and Hackers alike are welcome! (And as always our presentations are aimed to be accessible to newcomers as well as informative for oldhats)

Popcorn.js is an open source Javascript library (developed with Mozilla) for scheduling and scripting interactivity with audio/visual elements on webpages. We’ll go through the basics of the software, how to use it and an overview of some more advanced features.

You can check out an example of Popcorn.js made in collaboration with WNYC’s Radiolab (http://www.radiolab.org/) to create a visual presentation of one of their radio programs (http://popcornjs.org/Demo/radiolab-hyperaudio-player) or the full list of Popcorn.js demos (http://popcornjs.org/demos).
