The Secret Behind AI Optimization - Part 1 [alternate date]

Details

Combine hardware and software optimization for AI in one day
[Intermediate workshop]
We're excited to start hosting in-person events again so come out to network, learn and share what you're working on. The event will include a workshop guided by Raymond Lo - Intel's talented AI Software Evangelist - hands-on activity, food and prizes. Reserve your seat today - spaces are limited!

Machine learning is hard and it’s even harder to get deployment right on hardware. What if you could turn your everyday laptop into an AI powerhouse by downloading just a few toolkits? In this workshop, you will learn some of the hidden magic behind building and deploying AI models that actually work efficiently and quickly. All on hardware you can buy off-the-shelf.

You'll learn how to:

  • Train a model like ResNET from scratch with PyTorch or Tensorflow (with use cases)
  • Setup your machine with Jupyter Notebooks
  • Convert & optimize models with OpenVINO to run on Intel hardware

Bring a Windows laptop with OpenVINO installed. Learn more about installing OpenVINO here****.
