Easy Autumn Hike in the Wissahickon

Enjoy a lovely and easygoing forest walk/gentle hike in Philadelphia’s most beautiful parkland, the Wissahickon.
Scenery, waterways and a few historic buildings are part of this walk.
Please wear boots or sneakers that you feel comfortable in - ones that can prevent you from slipping when you’re walking on a few rocks or wet leaves and that you wouldn’t mind getting wet (there is one spot where your shoes may get a bit wet depending on conditions that day.)
Please aim to arrive 10 minutes before Noon start time. We will not be able to wait and will begin at Noon on time.
This is a nice hike/walk for you if you enjoy pretty scenery, being outdoors in fresh air and feel at ease with walking up steps and easy uphill and downhill sections of unpaved trail. One section is nicely paved.
Light commentary about the story of the park and a few of its interesting structures will be shared.

The Wissahickon is nature, beauty and history within 20 minutes of Center City and “The Rocky Steps” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Amazing!
