At this meetup led by Sqrrl CTO Adam Fuchs, we’ll talk about how Sqrrl puts the Apache Hadoop ecosystem to use for building a cyber threat detection and investigation tool. Sqrrl is a graph-style database built on Apache Accumulo and Hadoop. We've integrated Sqrrl with the Spark GraphX library to perform in-memory graph analysis over and asset data to comb over the intricate relationships in your big data, uncover hidden patterns, and ultimately aid the investigation of cyber events. Join us for a meetup that will closely align with the upcoming talk at Strata NYC!

About the Speaker:

Adam Fuchs is the Chief Technology Officer and co-founder of Sqrrl. Previously at the National Security Agency, Adam was an innovator and technical director for several database projects, handling some of the world’s largest and most diverse data sets. He is a co-founder of the Apache Accumulo project.
