The Black Dog, the ancient protector of the British Isle.
This mythical creature in the folklore of the Isle comes with many names; The Gwyllgi in Wales, the Cú Síth in Scotland and around these parts it is known as the fearsome Black Shuck.
He is many things, an ancient guardian of the passages between realms and both protector of innocence and a vengeful spirit of nature.
Together we pay homage to this ancient spirit with song and sweat and good cheer.
