PREVIEW OF THE YEAR AHEAD
With our first year in the history books, it's time to get out the crystal ball and see what the future portends. Tonight's episode will cover the main topics we will be delving into over the next year as we continue to KNOW OURSELVES. It is often tempting to believe that our advanced technology and sophisticsted mathematical models can give us an accurate picture of what is about to happen, but if so, why have so many of our predictions been off the mark? (There is no blame here, by the way - we're doing the best we can.)

TO SAY THAT HARVARD AND MIT ARE OVERRATED IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT
Superstition abounds in every corner of math and science around the world - FNL will explore exactly how this situation came about (think Maxwell, 1860, if not Pascal and Fermat, 1654) and what it means as we unceasingly hurtle into an uncertain future. Quite frankly, if we continue to believe in the fairy tale world of "what might have been," we will continue along a false path, one completely ungrounded from reality. You can agree with the common scientific (sic) belief that you might not have been born, but such an evidence-impossible viewpoint is nothing but a varient of MATHTURBATION. Unraveling the prevailing nonsense is one of FNL's chief aims, a task begun by the Deviant 46 years ago with the publication of his first book. The journey continues ...
