Ville Tunttunen has been working as a data protection legislation expert for the past six years, a field he became particularly interested in through issues related to fundamental rights. After drifting into data protection, his focus particularly turned to issues related to the processing of personal data by robotics and automation tools. These led him to examine legal phenomena concerning the digitalization of society, privacy, and automated decision-making. Daily questions and problems related to data protection and the regulation of artificial intelligence are part of a larger whole, which is why he enjoys working with them, helping people. Ville hails from North Karelia and has an undergraduate degree in international law, as well as a master's degree in public law.
