What weβre about
We're in search of an community dance space in Halethorpe. We've contacted some places. Message us if you can help.
Welcome to the Halethorpe Movement Meetup! We are passionate about exploring the harmonious connection between music and movement.
Join our community to engage in interactive sessions where we groove to different beats and rhythms.
Let's dance!
Dancing is a super fun way to stay fit and healthy.
And it's a great way to bond with other folks in the local community, too!
We couldn't find an open-to-the-public, accessible, affordable dance fitness class in the Halethorpe/Arbutus area - so we made our own!
Who should come?
Dancers of all skill levels are welcome!
Our events are all beginner friendly -- and we also have challenges for more experienced dancers.
What events do we have?
From dance workshops to jam sessions, let's come together to explore the joy of combining music and movement in a fun and inclusive environment.
For details, read the event description for some upcoming events.

Welcome!!All of our dances are meant to be beginner-friendly -- you can jump right in without any dance background or training. You probably won't get 100% of every move down perfectly on your first day, and that's normal! But from day one you'll be having some fun and getting some cardio in ππ»
Our dances are designed so you'll be fully dancing on day 1 -- but you'll also get better at them the more you do them, week after week. By week 4-5 of repeating a dance you may be comfortable enough to add your own "flavor" to the dances, and the fun doubles.
We'll have one instructor dancing on "lower intensity mode" and another on "higher intensity mode" - you can choose who to follow.
How much does it cost?
You can pay day-of, in-person using these payment links (preferred) -- or in-person with cash. These payment links accept credit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and many others.- First Time, $5.

- Drop-In, $10. Any class after your first time.
