# ✨ Glimmers: Finding Joy in Everyday Life

What if the most meaningful moments in life aren't the biggest ones?

"Glimmers" are the small, positive moments that spark feelings of peace, hope, gratitude, or joy. They can be as simple as sunlight streaming through your window, a genuine smile from a stranger, or hearing your favorite song while driving to work.

Research suggests that intentionally noticing these moments can improve well-being, reduce stress, strengthen resilience, and help us navigate life's inevitable challenges with greater hope.

This interactive meetup will be facilitated by Colleen Canney, Career & Executive Adviser, and Kristina Benson, Licensed Professional Counselor and Therapist. Together, we bring years of experience supporting individuals through career transitions, leadership challenges, anxiety, grief, relationship struggles, and major life changes.

While our professional backgrounds are different, we've discovered a common truth: people are tremendously resilient. We've seen firsthand that even during times of adversity, uncertainty, and loss, it is still possible to notice moments of beauty, connection, and hope.

During our time together, we'll explore:

✨ What glimmers are and the science behind them

🧠 Why our brains naturally focus on what's wrong—and how to retrain them to notice what's right

🌿 Simple, practical ways to cultivate more glimmers in everyday life

💬 Guided reflection and meaningful conversation with others seeking a more intentional, hopeful perspective.

You'll leave with practical tools you can begin using immediately, along with a deeper appreciation for the small moments that often have the greatest impact on our well-being.
