First Ottawa Event! Rohingya Refugee Lecture by Author Mohammed Rezuwan Khan

Hey everyone!

Our Halifax event series is such a success that we are trying our first Ottawa-based event.

Our first Ottawa speaker in Mohammed Rezuwan Khan, a Rohingya refugee author and activist who just moved to Canada with his family in August 2025.

Our previous speakers in the Halifax-based series include in-person speakers in Canada-Africa trade, a Ukrainian start-up founder and influencer, a political science professor, and a former politician for the Liberal Party of Canada. Our next Halifax-based in-person event is on Feb 24.

Feel free to show up as a stranger to the Ottawa event, that's how we run the Halifax event series. All are welcome, regardless of your professional background! We emphasize networking, community-building and learning more about the world!
