Innovation and Equality Forum

Shiftkey Labs is organizing a virtual forum in support of the Black Lives Matter movement on July 31st. The goal of this event is to address the challenges of black entrepreneurs, and under representation of blacks in innovation and leadership roles.

With this event, we hope to generate insights and empower the community to have an open dialogue and develop ideas related to the inclusion and participation of the black community to pursue careers in software innovation and entrepreneurship.

4:20PM – Panel Discussion

5:10PM – Breakout Sessions (Attendees convene in breakout rooms to discuss answers to strategic questions)

5:30PM – General Discussion (attendees and panelists share break-out discussion summary)

5:50PM – Draw ($500 worth of gift cards from businesses owned by black entrepreneurs in Nova Scotia)
