### Overview

The Red Hat Platform Engineering Roadshow is a hands-on experience showcasing how organizations can enhance developer productivity and security posture by adopting a platform engineering mindset.
Using Red Hat Developer Hub—part of the Red Hat Advanced Developer Suite—participants will deploy an Internal Developer Portal (IDP). Throughout the day, you’ll follow the journey of a Platform Engineer creating an IDP, from the initial design to a mature Product-as-a-Platform implementation.

### What You’ll Learn

From planning to implementation, you’ll gain practical experience deploying and managing an IDP that simplifies developer workflows. You’ll learn to:

• Create secure-by-default applications for Red Hat OpenShift
• Discover and integrate with new APIs
• Automate tasks through self-service workflows
• Integrate your IDP with authentication and Git hosting providers
• Implement secure software templates and CI/CD pipelines using
  Red Hat Trusted Profile Analyzer and Red Hat Trusted Artifact Signer
• Enforce security best practices and gather insights to improve your platform experience

By the end of the session, you’ll have hands-on experience building a real internal developer platform and understanding its impact on developer experience and governance.
