Hall of Heroes-Central Division

A new outpost of the Hall of Heroes has been established in Cormyr at the request of Aurus, the Great Gold Wyrm, protector of these lands. The outpost's purpose: to combat the growing influence of forces bent on chaos and conquest in the Central Heartlands area. Rumor has it the Zhentarim are involved, along with other as yet unidentified antagonists. Recent activities in the area indicate that this is more than a rumor. Journey to these mythical lands and help the Hall of Heroes thwart their efforts, and maybe find an interesting trinket or two along the way!

At our last session: The basement doors were finally breached, allowing the party to explore and locate the tome they were seeking. Along the way to the inner sanctum they encountered a few dedicated cultists, located the bodies of the previous scouting party, and deciphered a musical puzzle that resulted in unlocking the spiral staircase to the lower depths. Once there they were confronted by Krokulmar's guard dog: a Spectator. Defeating that obstacle, they then engaged Marcus Delphi and the aberration seeking entry to their realm, defeating them after a heated battle. With the book in their possession, and Markus's unconscious form in tow, they headed back to temp HQ. Along the way they captured a fleeing spy for the Zhentarim with an interesting massive. Our heroes have leveled up to level 4, accepting the task of investigating the out buildings and property boundaries for possible incursions. Something is brewing, but we're not quite sure what...
