St. Jacobs and More
Details
There were a few things a bunch of us weren't able to do/see on a previous Guess Where Trip last year, so let's take this day to close out on a few things (the biggest being St. Jacobs Market!) and see a couple of spots a second time. Stay as little or long as you'd like:
- Start: Stone Crock Bakery - coffee/tea to start the day - 10am meetup - 1402 King St N, St. Jacobs
- St. Jacob's Market - 11am (includes food/lunch) - 878 Weber St N, Woolwich
- Eby Manor - 2:30pm - 1174 Weeby Pl, Waterloo
- Templin Garden - 330pm - this is a short stop in Fergus to look over the rivers edge (a beautiful view) - located behind the Fergus Library
- Cox Creek Cellars - 415pm - 530pm - 7687 Wellington 22, Guelph (they have fire pits and muskoka chairs outside to enjoy your glass or a flight)

About Eby Manor: On the way to your next stop, you’ll pass ‘Eby Manor’—a quaint family farm that produces some of the best dairy products in the area. Originally purchased in 1959 by Howard Eby, the farm is now run by Jim and Ruth Eby, along with their son Ben and daughter-in-law Sheri. Visit the market where you can buy 4% chocolate milk (the best we’ve ever tried), cream, a variety of cheeses, ice cream, and much more. What makes their dairy truly special is their sweet herd of 60 Guernsey cows, known for producing naturally creamy, high-quality milk. Unlike conventional dairy, Eby Manor’s milk is 100% A2, meaning it’s non-inflammatory and easier to digest—a game-changer for those with milk sensitivities. So, whether you're picking up cheese for later or grabbing a sweet treat on the spot, this stop is well worth it. Hope you brought your cooler with you!
