Ham Radio Basics and Social Gatherings

Welcome to Ham Radio Basics and Social Gatherings. This group is for anyone interested in amateur radio, whether you have been a licensed operator for years or are just beginning to explore the hobby. Our goal is to provide a relaxed space where we can discuss the fundamentals of radio operation, share tips on equipment, and help one another navigate the licensing process. We believe that the best way to learn is by talking through things in person and learning from the collective experience of the group.

We meet regularly to swap stories, troubleshoot technical questions, and simply enjoy the company of others who share an interest in radio technology. There is no pressure to be an expert here; we are a community that values curiosity and the willingness to learn. If you have been looking for a way to get more involved in the local amateur radio scene or just want to connect with fellow enthusiasts, we would be happy to have you join us at our next gathering.
