Round Trip in the Aukrug Nature Park (27 km / moderate)

Woods, heath, hills, ponds, peace and quiet mark the Aukrug Nature Park in Schleswig-Holstein, only one hour train ride from Hamburg.

We’ll depart with the RE7 (generally platform 6 D-F) at 8:43 from Hamburg Central Station, change trains to the RB63 at 9:35 in Neumünster and arrive at 9:49 in Aukrug. Let’s meet at 8:35 under the sign for section ‘E’. The plan is to return with the 17:10 from Aukrug Station and arrive in Hamburg Central Station at 18:16. We will take a few breaks along the way. If we decide together to take our time, the next train departs at 18:10. The trip is covered by the Deutschland-Ticket.

Bring all the food and drink you will need for the entirety of the hike. Good, sturdy shoes are recommended.
