dear international friends,
today, for once, we don't wanna go hiking, but rather just take a little stroll, chill, eat and drink, and really enjoy ourselves on the banks of the elbe beach in övelgönne.
today, hopefully in the most beautiful midsummer weather, we want to have an international picnic on the elbe beach and bid farewell to the queen mary II, one of the most beautiful ships in the world, from hamburg.
the queen mary II will depart from the port of hamburg at approximately 7:00 pm and pass by us on the elbe beach in övelgönne about half an hour later, heading for the north sea.

it would be nice if everyone could contribute something to our picnic and bring a little something to eat and drink. maybe something that's commonplace in the country you come from - and very special for the others.
think of something nice and join us in looking forward to a beautiful summer evening on the elbe beach in the most beautiful city in the world.
if you have any problems, bring them to me and we'll throw them in the elbe!
please only register if you can really make it. if something comes up, please cancel by friday because of the people on the waitung list.
as always, participation in this group is free. donations are welcome.
you can reach the övelgönne ferry pier, for example, with the hvv bus from altona station, bus 112 or bus 30 or with the hvv ferry line 62 from landungsbrücken or finkenwerder.
everyone participates at their own risk
i look forward to a great event and great conversations with you.
if it rains heavily, if there's an earthquake or a famine that day, i'll cancel the event one day in advance.
