Into Boberger Niederung on Sunday Afternoon (16 km / easy)

Dear hikers, who would like to do some light physical activity next Sunday, for example on a relaxed walk through the Boberger Niederung nature reserve? We will explore every corner of this area in the east of Hamburg and will find a beautiful and diverse landscape including forest mires, shifting sand dunes, heathland, brooks, lakes and an airport.

Starting and ending point is U-Mümmelmannsberg, the terminus of line U2. This hike is in easy terrain with mostly good trails, short stretches through sand and across meadows, and maybe mud, puddles or wet grass. Remember to bring enough water and snacks as there are no possibilities to stock up on the way.

Please play nice and only sign up if your are 100% sure that you will join! Unreliable people (no show or late cancellation) may be excluded from future events with limited capacity. Repeat offenders will be banned from the group.

As always, this is a free event, but voluntary donations are welcome and help me cover the costs of running the group. Nobody is expected to give, only do so if you can afford it and would like to. Look out for the violet donation box toward the end of the hike.
