Moin, dear hikers! Yes, there are mountains in the Hamburg region, and that's a good thing! Not only because they make for excellent hiking conditions, but also because they'll help keep us warm next Saturday on a marvellous tour through the Harburg Mountains. We'll start at S-Fischbek station, head up to the Hasselbrock peak, and take a loop through the forests until we reach the Heimfeld district. We'll tackle every incline and hike at a brisk pace, preferably on small, hidden paths. A reasonable level of fitness, sure-footedness, sturdy shoes, and appropriate clothing are required. Please bring enough food and drink, there will be no opportunities to buy anything along the way.

We meet at 9:25 at S-Fischbek, outside of the station, near the entry. Make sure to arrive there with the train at 9:25, we will not wait for the next later train (but we will wait for the 9:25 train if it is delayed). The endpoint of the hike is the Krankenhaus Mariahilf bus stop, from where a bus departs every 10 minutes to S-Harburg Rathaus station.

Please play nice and only sign up if your are 100% sure that you will join! Unreliable people (no show or late cancellation) may be excluded from future events with limited capacity. Repeat offenders will be banned from the group.

As always, this is a free event, but voluntary donations are welcome and help me cover the costs of running the group. Nobody is expected to give, only do so if you can afford it and would like to. Look out for the violet donation box toward the end of the hike.
