Bike Trip From Klövensteen Forest to Elbe River (45 km / moderate)

Moin, dear bikers! Who is interested in joining me for a relaxed bike trip next Saturday? We will start at the station S-Sülldorf and make a loop in northern direction through Klövensteen forest, Tävsmoor and the regional Park Wedeler Au, until we reach Elbe at Hettlinger Schanze, where we will take the time for a picnic break at the beach. Terminus for the trip is the station S-Wedel. Please don't arrive at the starting point in Sülldorf later than with the train at 11:11. We will wait for this train, even if it is delayed, but not for the next later one.

The route runs mainly on bike paths, small roads and solid forest paths. There are no specific requirements for participation other than that your bike should be reliable and you are a safe rider. Bring your own food and drinks as needed for the day. If extreme weather is forecast for the day (too hot or too wet), I will decide whether the event will take place by Friday noon at the latest.

Please play nice and only sign up if your are 100% sure that you will join! Unreliable people (no show or late cancellation) may be excluded from future events with limited capacity. Repeat offenders will be banned from the group.

As always, this is a free event, but voluntary donations are welcome and help me cover the costs of running the group. Nobody is expected to give, only do so if you can afford it and would like to. Look out for the violet donation box toward the end of the hike.
