We organize the Meetup together with matched.io and the location is ARIC (Hamburg's R&D center and platform for artificial intelligence) in Hamburg. Everyone is welcome! You do not have to be an attendee at CDS.

Title: Video-processing on GPUs with x11grab and ffmpeg in containers

Abstract: Ffmpeg is the de-factor standard for video-processing. But video-processing itself requires significant resources in terms of CPU and bandwidth. To improve resiliency, at stackstream we handle each video streaming in separate containers to reduce the overall blast-radios. In this talk, we are showing how we capture and process video-stream on GPUs for each stream automatically on kubernetes.
