New Year, New Goals & New Plans!

Happy New Year 2026 everyone! ✨
I hope this new year will bring fresh energy, new ideas, and many more events than last year.

This event will be a bit different from our usual meetups. Instead of discussing a specific topic, it will be an introductory and organizational event where we talk about the direction of the group, expectations, and plans for the year ahead. I’ll share my ideas, but this meeting is mainly dedicated to brainstorming together.

The goal of this event is to create space for your input. You’re invited to bring suggestions for new discussion topics, but also ideas for new formats. After organizing events for a long time, I feel the need to experiment, try new things, and refresh the way we meet and interact.

As you know, in this group I organize book club events, philosophical, social, and cultural discussions, sometimes we discusse about movies and also body doubling sessions. I’d love to expand the horizons, so if you have ideas for specific events or formats you’d like to see, this is the perfect moment to share them. We can explore and experiment.

I’m also currently looking for new admins. A friend who helped me organize events over the summer has recently moved away, so if anyone is interested in becoming an organizer or helping behind the scenes, feel free to talk to me and we can discuss it.

To ensure that the events run smoothly and everyone has a chance to participate, I want to remind you of the attendance policy. I value your commitment to respecting each other's time and effort in organizing these gatherings. I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and plans can change. However, to maintain the quality of my events, I kindly ask for your cooperation in adhering to the following policy:

If you are unable to attend an event, please cancel your RSVP as soon as possible.
In the case of three unjustified no-shows (not canceled and no communication), a member may be subject to removal from the group.

IMPORTANT: I want everyone to express their opinions and participate at the conversation so I, as organizer, will moderate the group and I will intervene if the situation is getting chaotic, if some members have no chance to talk or if somebody will act rudely or take over the conversation. Everyone deserves the chance to talk and share their ideas, still respecting other people’s opinions, without ruining the harmony of the group.
