Vom Scribble zum Clickdummy

Beim letzten Mal haben wir uns angesehen, wie wir schnell und simpel Interfaces so aufscribbeln, dass man auch etwas erkennen kann (für alle die, die nicht dabei waren: No Worries - ihr könnt natürlich trotzdem teilnehmen.

Bei diesem Meetup wollen wir das erworbene Wissen zum Prototyping nutzen.

Worum geht es genau?
Mit der Smartphone App von Marvel machen wir aus einfachen Scribbles coole Clickdummies.

Warum Prototyping?

• Klarheit über Verhalten der UI schaffen
• Feedback zum Flow erhalten
• Aufwände und Kosten in Design und Entwicklung senken

Kann ich das denn?
Ja- auf jeden Fall. Wenn du ein paar Boxen malen und sie beschriften kannst, dann kannst du auch Clickdummies erstellen. Dank Apps wie Marvel geht das schnell und einfach.

Was machen wir im Workshop genau?
Erst machen wir uns kurz mit Marvel vertraut: Wie kommen unsere Scribbles in die App? Wie setzt man Hotspots? Wann und warum benutzen wir welche Transitions?
Danach denken wir uns Features für eine bahnbrechende Startup-Idee aus und bauen megacoole Prototypen daraus.

Wer gibt den Workshop?
Fabian ist Product Designer in einem crossfunkionalen Entwicklungsteam bei sum.cumo, denkt gerne LEAN und destilliert diesen Workshop nun seit mehreren Jahren in diversen Settings.

Was muss ich mitbringen?
Dein Smartphone, idealerweise gut geladen und mit der Marvel App bestückt. Alles andere haben wir vor Ort.

Last time we took a look at how to scribble interfaces quick and easy so that you’re able to recognize something (for those who weren't there: No worries you can still participate).

This time we want to use the knowledge we gained for prototyping.

What is it all about?
With Marvel's smartphone app we turn simple scribbles into cool click dummies.

Why Prototyping?

With prototypes we can...

• create clarity about the behaviour of the UI
• gain feedback on the flow
• reduce design and development efforts and costs

Can I really do that?
Yes - definitely. If you can paint a few boxes and label them you can also create click dummies. It's quick and easy, thanks to apps like Marvel.

What exactly will we be doing in the workshop?
First we get to know Marvel: How do our scribbles get into the app? How do we set hotspots? When and why do we use which transitions? Then we think up features for a groundbreaking start-up idea and build cool prototypes out of it.

Who’s giving the workshop?
Fabian is a product designer in a cross-functional developer team at sum.cumo. He likes to think LEAN, and has been refining this workshop in diverse settings for several years now.

What do I need to bring?
Your smartphone, ideally fully loaded and equipped with the Marvel App. We’ll take care of everything else.
