The Pixel Party is the next generation of photography events from the HMNS and is scheduled in the Faberge: A Brilliant Vision exhibition.

The special exhibition of Fabergé from the McFerrin Collection features more than 350 objects highlighted by 2 Fabergé eggs recently added to the collection—the breathtaking Diamond Trellis Imperial Egg and one of the celebrated Kelch Eggs.

Pre-registered photographers will have access to photograph the exhibit. Any camera including a cell phone camera will qualify.

NOTE: While the use of tripods and other equipment is allowed during the Pixel Party, please be aware of and courteous to those around you and consider the limited time frame of the Pixel Party when setting up — we want to make sure everyone has a chance to take pictures of everything they would like to shoot. Thank you!

Admission is free, but pre-registration with the museum is required.

You MUST have ONE of the following to participate:
(1) An active Flickr, Instagram, 500px, or other photo sharing account
(2) A dedicated Facebook Fan Page for your photography
(3) An active photography portfolio online

To pre-register, please email [masked] with your name and a link to ONE of the following:
(1) Your Flickr, Instagram, 500px, or other photo sharing account
(2) A link to your Facebook Fan Page
(3) A link to your online portfolio where photos will be displayed

Registration must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 8.

You will receive an email confirmation of your registration.

Let's gather in the main lobby across from the ticket area near the large bench (look for the green tiara).

There is very limited free parking near the museum entrance with additional free parking in Hermann Park. Garage parking is available at the museum for $10.00 when presenting proof of museum admission.

Thank you to Arie for suggesting this event. (
