In a Rosicrucian Digest article entitled "Two Practical Principles," the author explains how Rosicrucian metaphysical and mystical exercises refine and elevate the human consciousness so it may attune to Cosmic or Divine Consciousness.

We will discuss:
• The stream of consciousness from the objective and subjective along with the subconscious phases and beyond into the Divine state and the functions of the different phases.
• What the Outer Self and Inner Self are, how they communicate, and the relationship of trust between both.
• What part of us incarnates.
• What the Rose Cross symbols represent and where in the human consciousness are life lessons stored.
• How the subconscious receives messages through symbols.
• The borderline state and the power of the law of suggestion. Suggestion is the Divine’s greatest gift to us, which may be used or abused. It has the power, according to one’s state of development, to construct or destroy.

We will conduct a classic Rosicrucian exercise by former Imperator Ralph M. Lewis: "Attunement with the Cosmic - Attaining Cosmic Consciousness"
