Welcome to Salsa! 4-week Beginner Class + Mini-Social Series

Join us as we explore the joy of dancing salsa in this 4-week introductory series!

Hi! Thank you for your interest in taking Latin dance lessons with SalsaSoul!

In addition to our monthly dance socials (every 3rd Saturday of the month), we will be offering the following TWO BEGINNER SERIES on Thursdays in Hamilton, Ontario, starting on Sept. 17 & Oct. 1, 2026.
Location: Westdale United Church, 99 North Oval, Hamilton, ON (near McMaster U)

Welcome to BACHATA ~ 2 weeks ~ Starts Thursday, September 17 - $70
Welcome to SALSA ~ 4 weeks ~ Starts Thursday, October 1 - $120
Welcome to BOTH Bachata + Salsa ~ 6 weeks ~ Starts Thursday, September 17 - $170

All registrations include:
*75 min. class + 15 min. mini social/practice = 90 min.
*Entrance to SalsaSoul Saturday on October 17 so you can show off all your new moves! :D
(Saturday social will take place at Main Stage Rehearsal Studios, 747 King St. E. Hamilton 8 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.)

NOTE: We do offer progressive salsa lessons after the beginner series ends :) (There is a salsa 2 series and then an intermediate series)

8:15 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. ~ Mini practice/social

*No partner or experience necessary. All welcome!

ABOUT BACHATA
In this two-week introductory series, we explore the infectious rhythms and movements of bachata! This beautiful dance originates in the Dominican Republic and is recognised by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Join us and learn about bachata, and some of the different ways this music genre is interpreted on the dance floor.

ABOUT SALSA
Salsa dancing is a lively and energetic style of partner Latin dance that has its roots in Cuba and its evolution in New York. Salsa is so called because, like the food, it is a mixture of many elements. Salsa combines rich musical traditions and different dance styles allowing dancers to create something new in every
dance. It is a healthy and fun activity and a great way to connect with others. Join us!
