Join us for a board game meetup where you can connect, unwind, and compete in a relaxed, welcoming space. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or just in it for the laughs, there's a seat at the table for you. Expect a mix of classics, new faves, and lots of laughter. The event will be hosted at The Bard and Bear Games Cafe located at 237 James St N, Hamilton, ON L8R 2L2 on Thursday, August 28, at 6:00 pm- 9:00 pm.

*Please note that to play at the café, there's a $9 + tax cover fee for 3 hours of game time*

Why Event Fee?
Covers for big groups require a reservation and are mandatory to pay. So if we make a reservation for 20 people, the cafe will be expecting payment for 20 covers. That means, if anyone cancels at the last minute, I will still be required to pay their cover for them. Event fees are to essentially help discourage last-minute cancellations.

How to pay the Event Fee.
$9 cover + 18% autogratuity + HST= $12 Event Fee
Please e-transfer the $12 to **shaniasmith78@yahoo.com.** State your name and what event you're going to in the e-transfer.

After you have sent the event fee, you will be added to the "Going List"
Then, at the Cafe, you will receive back your full event fee in cash.

So once you're there, you're all set to play!

The only extra cost will be any food or drinks you may order at the café, and there’s an 18% tip added automatically for large groups.

Just show up, grab a seat, and enjoy the games!

REFUND POLICY
Refunds are provided up to 24 hours before the event. Reservations are made in advance, so the group cover has to be paid. So if you cancel last minute, the event host will still be on the hook for paying your cover.

RSVP POLICY
Please feel free to RSVP to any event that you want to connect at. We take notice of no-shows and less than 24-hour cancellations. Members with repeat offences will receive only 1 warning. If the no-shows continue, then that member will be removed from the group.
