Dungeon of the Mad Mage
Details
The party is 15th level. . We are doing part of the Dungeon of the Mad Mage.This game is currently full. The game (usually) alternates between my home and Black Knight games. The games at my place are in my dining room and I have a very excited, over friendly dog who loves to be involved.
After Lucky is nearly eaten by the door vampires, a surprisingly cordial Lick answers the door. Igor, Barak, and Julia convince him to bargain the goblin sceptre in return for some vacuum cleaners. After making the deal the Lick invites them in to play some chess. The heroes decide to head deeper into the dungeon in search of the Spelljamming helm. They learn that it is in Stardusk hold. Reconfiguring the map they head down to the Terminus. The walls there are bleeding and smell of sulfur and roses. Julia attempts to speak to the blood and discovers that there is an angel that was summoned by Scarlet and was corrupted by the place. Barak tastes some of the blood. Igor finds a mine cart and the heroes decide to take a ride in the cart and end up in a Duergar mine. They speak to some of the miners and are introduced to Stalagma, the mine overseer. The heroes offer to help the Duergar and meet Stalagma's partner Valtagar. Valtagar fills in some of the holes in the story and talks about some demons that are now serving the angel. He also offers the heroes lodging in the kitchens. The following day they are directed to Fazrian's throne room. On they way they befriend some more duergar and Barak blows a horn that summons ghostly dwarves. They flee into the throne room and are confronted by Fazrian.
