eMTB Geezer Ride - Skunk Hollow to Darrington

Roll out at 9:30 sharp from the Skunk Hollow parking area near Salmon Falls Bridge. There is a fee for parking in this area, but you can park for free on the south side of Salmon Falls bridge and ride down the parking lot.

Join a group of seasoned riders (most of us aged 60+) as we climb up Skunk Hollow and ride down Acorn out to Darrington. We ride Darrington out to Flagstaff Hill, which is a long chunky climb that ends at Rattlesnake Bar Road. We then zoom down Rattlesnake Bar to a picnic area on Folsom Lake. The return takes Darrington Road back to Darrington Trail and we follow the Lakeshore back to Salmon Falls Road and then over to the Skunk Hollow parking area.

Depending on which additional side trails we choose to explore, this will be about 24-26 miles with 3,800+ feet of climbing, so a full powered eMTB with a large battery (i.e. 700 WH+) is recommended.

Additional Notes:
* This IS NOT a beginner route - some technical sections and challenging climbs
* It's going to be a warm day, so be sure to bring plenty of water, electrolytes, snacks, etc.
